We love that we can have both the flexibility of homeschooling with the “typical” school experience. We also LOVE the classical method and feel like it is very developmentally appropriate. It’s amazing how quickly my son is able to memorize scripture, facts, poetry, and phonograms.
We love the community and friendships we have developed, and I love the structure of the assignments each week. Noah went from being behind on most everything to being on target in one year!
Where do I start... Assignment sheets. Best of both worlds with homeschool and a more typical instruction. Community. I love that my girl ends every day listening to bible stories with Mrs. McGowan!
Our children are joyfully learning in the classroom, as well as supported on their days at home. I am continually impressed by how well the tutors have gotten to know my children. They provide a classroom that is academically challenging, yet emotionally and socially effective. Whenever I have questions, or just plainly need a supportive ear, there is a community waiting to step in and help. Unitas is not just a school, but a community that my family is so grateful to be learning and growing with.
